I am Not currently being sued by Nintendo, which seems to be a shrinking club everyday. LOL, I kid, but Nintendo isnt, as they win a lawsuit and begin a new one. Tony Hawk is teasing a 25th Anniversary announcement, Sony is all up in the news for good and bad reasons, and Vince Zampella has some wild takes. Borderlands ends its sad run, Donald Glover wants to bring fun back to star wars, and Gary Oldman is open to going back to the Wizard World. That plus more.

RIP to James Earl Jones, the voice of a generation, and more. Sony has decided to not sell any PS5 Pros by pricing it at $700 WITHOUT A DISC DRIVE, and barely upping the graphics output. The video game voice actors strike has some light, and WB is prioritizing a Hogwarts Legacy sequel. Meanwhile, Lucasfilm is facing a lawsuit 8 years after the release of Rogue One, Shogun breaks Emmy records, Spider-Man 4 finds a director.

329: There are no strings on ME
Two Pinocchio stories this week, one about a horror movie, the other, the return of Ultron. Its the week after Gamescom, so that means its time for Call of Duty news! Plus Nintendo decided to have a direct and not talk about the Switch's successor. Sony bombs out with their latest games as a service, and Lionsgate debuts their 2nd flop of the summer. Meanwhile Ted Lasso is gearing up for a new season on the pitch, and Tarantino takes a phaser to his chances of directing a Star Trek.

328: Back to the Motherland
Well folks its finally happening, a Mafia game set in Sicily at the turn of the 20th Century! I am very excited! But that wasn't the only news out of Gamescom this week, another Bethesda title is going multiplatform, old franchises are returning, and new adaptations are unexpectedly coming! Also, don't go after actors for roles they play, they aren't really those characters!

327: Darkness falls on the (Para)mount...
We are back, and this time...on time. Tango Gameworks has been saved, and so has Hi-Fi Rush! as the PUBG owners swoop in to save it, Borderlands fails to find loot at the box office, and Strauss Zelnick has a lot to say about the game industry. Comic-Con 2024 has come and gone, and with it some pretty major news. And Marvel did not disappoint during their return to Hall H, and the Russo's brought us a very unexpected gift. SAG-AFTRA is back with a new strike, this time for Video Game Voice actors, Bungie gets hit with a massive lay off. And to top it all off, we have a review of Deadpool and Wolverine! LFG!

We can finally have peace, as the Halo show has been put out of its misery. Fighting games seem to be getting a lot of new content this year, EA Sports hits the jackpot on College Football 25, and Unions make waves

323: An HBO Original
That's right were no longer a Max Original, were an HBO original. But what could be more fun that that? Well how about the imminent release of EA Sports College Football 25? Or the return of the Russo Bros to the MCU?

322: Angōs, Meleys.
Well, GamePass is getting a price hike, but are you surprised? Inside Out 2 keeps raking it in, movies are so back! Kevin Feige had to explain a certain act to MCU execs for a Deadpool joke. Meanwhile, the Horizon Zero Dawn show is dead at Netflix.

321: The Patron Saint of Gaming
Well, I did not expect news of a saint who games, but here we are, a kid who loved Halo and Pokémon is going to be a saint. Plus SEGA pulled back the soft top on its Crazy Taxi reboot, Elden Ring continues to rake in the cash, and Capcom sets its sites on the future. CDProjekt Red wants to push the envelope in its next Cyberpunk game, Nintendo continues to go after its fans.
